Mount St. Helens Burps 36,000 Foot Plume

I live a little over forty miles from Mt. St. Helens but I did not witness this event because I was at baseball practice with Ryan and Alana.

My parents live outside Yelm; their house being about half-an-inch to the left of the USGS symbol in the bottom left corner.
Plume drifting away from them. They're safe.
